VRMesh Forward provides a step-by-step workflow to guide you through the entire design process, from intelligent wireframe curve detection to high quality Quads and NURBS surface creation.
Step 1. Mark Edges
The program automatically marks high curvature edges. You may also use the paint tool to further define the regions. |
 |
| |
Step 2. Create Wireframe Curves
The program extracts all curves along the marked edges, and creates wireframe curves automatically. You can use the curve editing tools, such as Draw, Move, Merge, Split, Smooth, etc, to optimize the curves. |
 |
| |
Step 3. Create Regions
The program splits the triangle-meshed object into several regions using the wireframe curves. Each region is identified in different colors. |
 |
| |
Step 4. Construct Grids
The program converts the triangle-meshed object into a quad-meshed object. |
 |
| |
Step 5. Fit Surface
The program creates a NURBS surface automatically, and exports it in the IGES format. |
