January 23rd, 2019 - VRMesh v10.2 adds water flow tracing.

November 1st, 2018 - VRMesh v10.1 is released for streamlining the workflow for point cloud cleanup and road resurfacing.

March 14th, 2018 - VRMesh v10.0 is released with a new construction module.

October 12th, 2017 - VRMesh v9.5 is released with new features for LiDAR strip adjustment.

April 20th, 2017 - VRMesh v9.4 adds more feature extraction and measurement tools.

October 28th, 2016 - VRMesh v9.3 is released with texture add-on.

July 8th, 2016 - VRMesh v9.2 is released. It's able to classify point clouds generated from UAV images.

February 18th, 2016 - VRMesh for AutoCAD 2016 is released.

February 1st, 2016 - VRMesh v9.0 is released. User Interface is changed to a new ribbon-based interface.

September 15th, 2014 - VRMesh v8.5.1 is released.

June 30th, 2014 - VRMesh v8.5 is released for classifying powerlines, poles, and tree crowns.

February 11st, 2014 - VRMesh Triangulation for AutoCAD 2014 is released.

January 30th, 2014 - VRMesh 8.0 is released. This new release mainly focuses on improving workflow efficiencies.

March 18th, 2013 - VRMesh 7.6 is released. This new release mainly focuses on performance improvement.

January 14th, 2013 - VRMesh plugins for ArcGIS are released for point cloud classification and triangle meshing.

October 9th, 2012 - VRMesh library is released. It provides advanced technologies for point cloud classification, triangle meshing, and mesh editing.

September 19th, 2012 - VRMesh 7.5 is released. Special emphasis has been placed on processing large point clouds with high accuracy and efficiency.

April 2nd, 2012 - VRMesh 7.1 is released. Detect Planes and Boolean Surface Curves are added. A maximum of sixteen cores is supported. VRMesh Survey is redesigned to solely focus on point cloud classification and feature extraction functionalities.

February 27th, 2012 - VRMesh 7.0.2 is released. This release provides more accurate classification on high roofs and more cleaned-up ground points in steep regions. A maximum of eight cores is supported.

January 23rd, 2012 - VRMesh 7.0 is released. This release mainly focuses on the improvement of the Survey module. More than twenty new features have been added into the Survey module. The ShapeFile format is supported.

March 28th, 2011 - VRMesh 6.1 is released. Split Classified Points is added. Some bugs are fixed. VRMesh Education annual license is available.

February 18th, 2011 - VRMesh 6.0 is released. This release adds a new VRMesh Survey module as well as several new features for mesh editing and repair. Some existing key features have been taken significant improvements, e.g., Boolean, offsetting, triangle error fixing, etc.

April 12th, 2010 - Cloud Decimator for AutoCAD 2011 is released. This plug-in follows on the VRMesh's cutting-edge technologies and dramatically enhances the visualization of the scan model within the AutoCAD environment.

March 8th, 2010 - VRMesh 5.0 is released. Some new features are added, e.g., support large point clouds, NURBS creation, multithreading, and online license transfer. New formats (*.las and *.iges) are added.

May 8th, 2008 - VRMesh 4.1.2 is released. Remove Redundant Points command and Point cloud to Mesh wizard are updated. New format *.xyz is added. All variables are updated from float to double.

March 19th, 2008 - VRMesh 4.1.1 is released. License Transfer option is added. Some minor bugs are fixed.

February 11th, 2008 - VRMesh 4.1 is released. This release adds some new features to increase the performance of VRMesh for use in civil engineering, which include fully supporting vertex color during the point cloud/mesh processing, accurately decimating/smoothing points in selectable areas, and generating cross-section curves directly on point clouds, etc.

October 17th, 2007 - VRMesh 4.0 is released. New key features include point cloud processing tools, LOD display, and a set of new tools for mesh editing and digital clay.

February 8th, 2007 - VRMesh 3.5 family is released. It introduces new functionality that is aimed to increase the performance of the complete reverse modeling workflow. New key features include global registration, inspection, measurement, etc.

July 19th, 2006 - VRMesh 3.0 is released. It is a huge step forward in technology, performance, and speed. The interface and interaction are redesigned, more than sixty new features are added, and everything is speeded up.

June 14th, 2005 - VRMesh 2.5 is released. Point cloud to mesh is redesigned, emboss with texture is added, advanced mesh healing techniques are huge improved, and many existing commands are enhanced.

February 8th, 2005 - VRMesh 2.0 is released. It adds many new features including mesh healing tools, project fillet, clip painted region for arbitrary trimming, enhanced remeshing and smoothing, Boolean and knife editing. It also adds a new interface.

October 26th, 2004 - VRMesh 1.1 is released. It adds enhanced Digital Clay modeling for work on unstructured triangle meshes using Morph, Soft Brush, Crease Brush, Round Brush and Smooth Brush commands.

August 30th, 2004 --VRMesh 1.01 is released. This update bypasses bugs that were causing VRMesh to crash unexpectedly.

August 12th, 2004 - VirtualGrid announces the upcoming release of their new sketch-based 3D modeling tool, VRMesh.
